Performance review
Review within the first 100 days of teaching, then annually. Teaching quality, reliability, client experience, and responsibilities guide earned $5 increases and tier progression. Raises are not automatic.
Greater responsibility
Mentoring, programming, or operating responsibility is discussed and documented separately before the work changes.
The teaching fit
Strong standards. Warm room.
The physical opening planning target is one to two weeks before halloween 2026, not a fixed date. Village action, permits, plan revisions, buildout, inspections, equipment, and instructor coverage determine the final schedule.

Recognized training in at least one format: reformer, mat Pilates, or yoga

Additional apparatus, prenatal, anatomy, or CPR/AED education

These are starting class rates by teaching level. We confirm your rate, responsibilities, and terms in writing before work begins. Mat Pilates is outside this published ladder; assignments are discussed and priced separately.

Strong teaching can progress to $75 per reformer class. Mentoring, programming, and other lead responsibilities are agreed and compensated separately. Certification hours alone do not determine your tier.
Where you teach
Two rooms, one roster.
Reformer room
Ten planned reformers: six standard, four half-tower. Never more than ten clients.
Yoga room
Small, non-heated hatha and vinyasa classes, informed by ISHTA. Final layout and capacity confirmed before opening.

We are building the opening team around teaching quality, complementary availability, and dependable substitute coverage. Tell us which formats and weekly blocks work for you. Class assignments depend on the opening schedule and demand; a set number of classes is not guaranteed.

Qualification review, contact, audition, and a hiring decision are separate steps. SOFI will communicate any later status privately through the contact information you provided; there is no public email-lookup page that could expose candidate information.
